SUPERMODEL JASMINE LENNARD WEARS HAIR2INSPIRE HAIR EXTENSIONS IN THE BIG BROTHER HOUSE

Jasmine Lennard really made an impression in the Celebrity Big Brother house this year with some of her opinions and straight talking but a big topic of discussion when it came to Jasmine was her beautiful hair. The beauty of Jasmines hair was not just the fullness of her mane but also how undetectable her hair extensions were. Unbeknown to many Jasmine was wearing hair extensions from yours truly! Yes, Jasmine was wearing 200g of Hair2inspire luxurious Virgin hair in lengths 20 and 22 inches.

Hairstylist Corina Newton who applied the extensions for Jasmines says "Jasmine has got naturally thick hair and so the extensions were added at the base of the head for length and graduated volume.  The application method I used was quick and simple but a method that could guarantee that the hair was attached so that it stayed intact. I used a natural plaiting method that did not include the use of glue or any other adhesive that would damage Jasmines natural hair".

Jasmine used hair that was a natural virgin colour as it blended in with her hair colour but our hair is available in a various range of colours and so can easily be matched to an indiviuals needs. In addition we offer a customised service whereby we can highlight and colour hair to meet customer requirements. What is so great about our hair is the fact that it is top quality 100% human hair and so can be treated like it is your own, it can be washed, dyed, bleached, tonged, straightened and so on, there are no limitations to what you can do with it or the looks you can achieve with it.

Wedding day hairstyle tips

What a beautiful weekend, not just weather wise, the Brides of Culture exhibition held at the Crowne Plaza was a delightful affair. We had a stand at this event and it was a great experience for us.  Not only did we find out what our customers want but we also found out the numerous questions you had on your mind when it comes to hair extensions, wigs, extension care and maintenance. Something we found which was common amongst the brides to be that visited our stand was the fear of not finding a suitable bridal hairstyle for the day, fittingly we have sought the advice of one of our partner hairstylists who specialises in Bridal hair to contribute to this weeks blog.

H2I team xx

On a brides wedding day no one there should out shine her, which is why choosing the right hair style is so important. A bride will want a style that not only looks good on the day of her wedding but one that will look good in the wedding photos and film years later. Here are my top tips :
  • Find a style that is timeless and elegant and the same can be said for any accessories that you may choose to use within your style. Accessories are a optional touch to a wedding hair design with the classic favourites being a tiara or flowers. The key to wearing hair accessories on your wedding day is  not to over do it. Never wear flowers and a tiara or a tiara and hair clips. This will over power the actual style of your hair and make it look cluttered.
  • Speak to your stylist about the use of hair accessories as they will only compliment certain styles. If you are determined to wear them as part of your do, take them with you when you first go and see your stylist so that  you can both pick a style that incorporates them and makes the most of them.
  •  If you use tiaras or flowers as your hair accessories choose something simple such as a single flower just behind your ear or a simple jewelled headband worn low with a bit of height in the hair behind it.

  • Worried that with your short hair you wont get the look your looking for? Invest in some hair extensions to wear on that day for more flexibility. If you dont want to sew in or bond in the hair use the clip- in method which is great for an instant, temporary transformation.By adding hair extensions or a hair piece you can add both length and volume to your hairdo.
  •  Do not to use too much products on your hair on the day of your wedding so that your hair or hair extensions appear natural and has a gorgeous texture.
No matter what hair style you decide on for your wedding day you should always ensure that you have a trial run of it before your wedding to make sure that on the actual day everything goes according to plan. A trial run will make sure that any problems you encounter can be taken care of.

I hope you find these tips useful if you have any questions regarding any points in this article please email info@hair2inspire.com . I can assure you that you can find beautiful human hair extensions that will suit your wedding day needs at hair2inspire, check out their facebook page: www.facebook.com/hair2inspire1 or call thier customer line 0800 458 8519.

Invisible Part Weave

What is an Invisible Part Weave?

An Invisible part weaves is a full head weave which gives the illusion of a natural parting in the hair. It is a great revolution for many women as it serves as a great protective style for women who want a style with versatility without leaving any of their own hair out. This makes it possible for the wearer to use any texture or color of weave they would like without trying to blend in thier own hair.

Here is a step by step guide to achieving a seamless invisible part:

Firstly, hair should be washed and blow-dried. For a middle parting make the part as close to the middle as possible, however if you want the part slanted or on the side, part it that way. This part will be the only part of the hair showing, so make it neat.

Secondly, hair should be braided going toward the back in cornrows. Start in the front where the part was made. Continue all the way until your whole head is completely braided. Thread the weaving needle and attach the loose ends of the cornrows to the base of your braid using a basic stitch sewing method. There should be no ends of the braids hanging.
Thirdly, sew in hair extensions by measuring the hair extension across the rows of braids. Cut the extension to fit that area. Sew the hair onto the braids or onto the net (if you use a weave net to protect cornrows when weaving) using the basic stitch method. Once you reach the end, make a loop in the thread to form a knot. Continue this process all the way up until you get to the crown of the hair, about 1 inch away from your part.

Finally, cut the remaining hair extensions into approximately thirty one-inch strips. Depending upon the size of your head you may need more or less. Taking one strip of extension at a time, lightly cover the weft with weaving glue. Wait 10 seconds to allow the glue to become tacky. Starting ½ inch above your hairline, firmly place the extension. Lay the extension pieces in a slightly slanted side-to-side formation. Do not cover the part; the part is the only area that should remain visible. Each strip should go directly above the other one in the same direction. Continue this process on both sides of the part. Comb the hair down to cover the wefts. It should appear that the hair is growing out of your scalp, thus creating an invisible part.

Many hair stylists leave out the front of the hair and gel it down then proceed to glue the strips down on top but it is more protective to braid it all and use a net, you can still get that flawless look, it’sall in the technique. Trust me when I say, practice makes perfect.

I hope this guide was useful; I will be working with hair2inspire team, bringing styling tips, tutorials and ideas to their customers via their blog and you-tube channel.

Pressing On and Almost there!!!!!!!!

This month’s blog article is really an update on the operations at H2I as we’ve been extremely busy over the past couple of months. We have just entered the 2nd month of the year and what a year it has been already. Firstly, we would like to extend belated Happy New Year greetings and wishes to all; we hope you are all on the road to achieving what you wish for in 2012.
At H2I We started the year with a bang, we finalized details of our Distribution Program for both retailers and wholesalers, we found the New face of Hair2inspire and we had an amazing Photo-shoot with the renowned photographer Mark Barnfield, Black Hair and Beauty Best Newcomer winning stylist: Alero May(who was also one of the hair models on the day) and the talented stylist Addis Haynes.  Makeup artist on the day was the acclaimed makeup artist to the stars David Gorgeous.

The fabulous pictures will be revealed on the website which is to be launched today for a test run on the 2.2.12 and official launch on the 18.2.12. The website is being designed in-house by our creative designer who goes by the name of Royalty designs. We have all been contributing to the site from conception as we wanted a site that reflects our personalities and showcases our products. We are all passionate about the web and wanted to use the latest technologies to build a user friendly site that will be a good experience for our clients; highly usable and functional.  We have sent a few shout outs on twitter, on our facebook fan page and via email to our wonderful customers trying to find out what features they would like on our site.  The feedback has been amazing and we feel truly honored that our customers would take the time out to help us. In fact it is due to a suggestion from one of our clients the reason why we have limited the launch date of the 2nd February 2012 to a sample number of our customers so that they can test the site and give us feedback. We want no holds barred feedback, whether positive or negative so that we can work on the site until we get a site that really meets the needs of our customers.  The official launch date of the completed site will be the 18th February 2012 once we are sure that you are 100% happy with the site. We really appreciate your continued support and suggestions which have and will continue to help us to grow into a better company.
